Articles on the AoPS Wiki may be protected by admins. Protected articles may not be edited unless by specified people who are usually admins.
Since most users may not edit most protected pages, you may request an edit to a protected page by putting {{edit-protected|reason}} on its corresponding discussion page. Please explain the edit in full detail so anybody uninvolved with you may do the edit. If the discussion page is also protected, then you are out of luck since there is no centralized protected edit request center.
