What Is A Distinct Line?
Distinct lines are two or more lines that intersect at one point or less. This means that they cannot have the same equation.
Example Of A Problem Using Distinct Lines
How many distinct lines can you draw on a 5x5 grid that intersect at least two points on the grid?
Irony
Ironically, the above problem is one of my homework questions, and I still haven't solved it. The one thing I know is that the answer is NOT 24. (If you are able to solve the problem, please notify me!)
