2025 Illinois Kennedy Mathcounts

Kennedy Junior High School 2025 Illinois Mathcounts

Kennedy Junior High School in Illinois competed in the 2025 Mathcounts Competition, winning first in Chapter and second in State. One person from the team, William Wu, qualified for Nationals by placing first in the State competition.

Chapter Performance

Kennedy Mathcounts won first place in its chapter at Dukane Chapter Competition, in the Dukane Chapter.

State Performance

Kennedy Mathcounts won second place in state at the Illinois State Competition, falling behind the first place winner, Daniel Wright. However, one of Kennedy's students, William Wu, managed to win State individual number one. Kennedy's coach, Haihui Niu, also went on to coach the Illinois National Team.
