The Simons Summer Research Program was founded in 1994 by James and Marilyn Simons. This prestigious program's duration is six weeks and accepts only about forty students nationwide who have a deep passion for research and is located at Stony Brook University. Housing is typically offered to students in doubles. Each of these students will work with a professor to create a poster that they will present at the end of the program.
