The Simons Summer Research Program was founded in 1994 by James and Marilyn Simons. This prestigious program's duration is six weeks and accepts only about forty students nationwide who have a deep passion for research. Simons Research Program is located at Stony Brook University, which is in Stony Brook, NY. Each of these students will work with a professor (some students will have the same professor) to create a poster that they will present at the end of the program.
