Where did you find the past CEMC contests? --Aoum (talk) 13:28, 2 August 2025 (EDT)
- You can find them on the website, and some of them show on the website if you change the number in the URL. Also, I found someone that was covering all of them on his YouTube channel called Canada Math or something like that, as well as some PDFs with the contests. As editors, we can't move pages. However, we can use redirects to forward users from one page to another. Here is an example of a redirect: #REDIRECT [[User:Anabel.disher]] (replace User:Anabel.disher with your desired landing page). --Aoum (talk) 18:04, 30 September 2025 (EDT)
- I know, but I thought admins would be able to move pages and I didn't want to leave a redirect Anabel.disher (talk) 19:35, 30 September 2025 (EDT)
- What are you trying to say? I don't completely understand. However, I did find a bunch of other pages that should be moved. Perhaps we can just copy/paste the content and redirect them to their appropriate page. If you don't want to leave a redirect, the best solution would be to propose it for deletion. --Aoum (talk) 21:43, 30 September 2025 (EDT)
- I thought that the wiki admins would have been able to move pages, and MediaWiki usually allows you to move pages without leaving a redirect. Anabel.disher (talk) 09:30, 1 October 2025 (EDT)
- Anyway, can you help me copy and paste the contents of the pages
- I think you got most or all of them, so I'll leave it to you. --Aoum (talk) 19:04, 1 October 2025 (EDT)
What should we do with these pages:
- Gauss (Gr. 7 & 8),
- Gauss Grade 7 Year 2011 Problem 1,
- Gauss Grade 7 Year 2011 Problem 2, and
- Gauss Grade 7 Year 2011 Problem 4?
--Aoum (talk) 20:02, 1 October 2025 (EDT)
- Sorry the wiki was barely loading for me, but I'd move those in the same way if they don't already have pages (Problem 4 is already a redirect because the problem was the same as Grade 8 Problem 2, so that one can just be marked for deletion, and I don't think the other ones were there already)
- I can't see the first one because the website isn't loading well, but maybe merge the information with the already existing CEMC Gauss page if there is one
