Problem

Ground beef sells for $$5.00$ per kg. How much does $12$ kg of ground beef cost?

Solution

To get the total cost of all the ground beef, we would need to multiply the amount of kilograms of ground beef by the cost for only one kilogram of ground beef. This means that we have:
