Texas ARML

Texas ARML

The Texas ARML Team competes annually at the University of Iowa site of the American Regions Math League, a national high school math competition. Various regions of the country send one or more teams to one of the sites to partake in a rigorous day of competition on the Saturday following Memorial Day. The Texas team usually comprises about 45 students from all over Texas who share a common interest in mathematics. Invitations are based on the AMC and other contest results. We start the weekend with a camaraderie-building bus ride. The day before the contest, a two hour test is used to help select the 15-member Gold, Silver, and Bronze/Titanium teams.
